Meeting initially in the VJ world, punkvert quickly enhanced each other's tastes and accelerated their artistic knowledge like some spawning primordial soup.

Paul Blackwood, visionary artist behind the seminal UK DJ/VJ group 'Reality Check' hosted the Media Lounge at Turnmills Nightclub since the late 90s. After booking VJ and club promotor funkcutter in 2002, who swiftly became a resident, collaboration in more varied art forms became the way forward.

Punkvert have gone from promotors to VJs to live AV performers to film makers to HARDartists to musicians to vinyl label managers and back to promotors again and all things simultameously proving that Specialisation is indeed for Insects and the only downside is that they don't have enough limbs.
